So yesterday at 8:30am weighing a lovely 8.7 pounds; I finally gave birth to my little boy Elijah. The pregnancy was hard, the labour was a challenge but nothing could have prepared me for after.
As I had my couple of hours old baby boy I was waiting with my legs up on then stirrups, trying to feed my baby and having my down stairs stitched. And with only 3 stitches left to go I started to have a seizure. I've never ever had one in this past and they said what caused it was the fast that my blood pressure went up once.... And it wasn't even high enough to cause concern at the time. So I'll be spending the next week in hospital being monitored. And even though this experience as a first time mam was terrifying....the truth is I'd still do it all over again for my perfect little prince 💙👶🏻
