I wouldn't do permanent color or bleach, hell I'm grown and I hate messing with bleach, but I don't mind color. I change my hair frequently, and I mean frequently. My daughter loves to as well at 6. I'll either buy her clip in extensions with some color or find some wash out dye. I don't see the harm in it. She's just expressing herself with colors she likes, much the same as when I let her pick out her outfits or clothes or jewelry she likes.

I remember when I was 6 I wanted pink in my hair and my mom took me to have it done . I remember how many compliments I got from strangers and all the girls at my school loved it. I guess it's just the person of they like it or not, I see nothing wrong with putting color in your child's hair. but if it's constantly being dyed black or other colors then that's s Little weird I only had 2 or 4 strands put in and that's it never full on color

@adrien5.29, they just bleached their 8 yr Olds hair and the 3 year old has been a red head a blond a brunette and had black hair since like November

i think 12 is an appropriate age for that. i remember being 13 and desperately wanting dark hair.

@brie15, Yup you are so right I will definitely not let my son dye his hair untill hes of age to do what he wants an if I had a daughter I would definitely not let her dye her hair till bout 18 maybe Idk but especially not when there kids an then those crazy bright ass colors lol

No its just very looked fown upon. Make sure you try to be very careful with dye or bleach. When I was growing up I knew a 8 year old girl that got burned so badly all her hair fell off. I dyed my hair young too but its effects some kids differently because dyes and bleach are formulated for adults.
