Anyone else a little embarrassed to use their WIC vouchers? Seems like every cashier gives me attitude because it takes so long and I always get a mile long line behind me. My family really needs the help right now but I struggle with using them because I feel ashamed :-(

hekk naw ring me for my free milk and cereal lol ... we have a wic store here so u just go in and give them your vouchers and they give u the food its so much easier no lines or getting the wrong stuff
no shame cuz i tell them ahead of time and put them in order of each check so it goes quick

there's one lady that always judges me. I only use mine for the formula and fruits. it's their job. if they don't like it they need to find another one.

I actually had another wic mom tell me to get the 2 packs of baby food instead of the jars because it doesn't take as long.... well guess what, I like the jars better cuz they don't leak in my diaper bag is she doesn't eat them all.... if your family needs the help then so be it mama, don't be ashamed or embarrassed at all... sometimes when I go to walmart and I have a big wic order I tell the cashier ahead of time and they turn their light off so no one lines up (with supervisor permission of course)... you are making sure you have some food for your family, screw them if they think they are better than you, they are a cashier at a grocery store, they can't make that much anyway. karma mama, karma it will get them

Everything store has a customer service ask for the exact list wic approved list so much easier

i understand how yoh feel im trying to get the hang of and having to take stuff out and put stuff back can be embarrasing. but at the end of the day family matters over strangers 😉

no I don't care... but one did give me a little advice ... she said to get your wic stuff separately from your original grocery... and also have everything signed already.. then it won't take so long @rhiatia
