I got induced on Monday night 5/22 at about 9:30 due to preeclampsia. They started me on pitocin for the induction and magnesium to keep my blood pressure down and to prevent me from having seizures. Once I got to 3cm dilated they put the balloon thing up me to speed up dilation. I got the epidural the next day at 5cm dilated after they broke my water. Around 4ish I was 10cm dilated and it was time to start pushing. I kept pushing and pushing but my body was just too numb so they let it wear off a bit but it completely wore off and I felt everything. I was so scared and demanded for them start up the epidural again yet only half of my lower body would numb. Being on magnesium took a toll on my body and it started going into shock, I was on an oxygen mask but still couldn't catch my breath. After three hours of pushing baby's head was right there but just wasn't coming out and my body stopped responding so they took me in for a csection & he was born 5/24 at 9:36 pm as one healthy baby boy 6pounds 7ounces. They said if I would have kept trying vaginal delivery things would have got worst so that's why we went to do a csection. I was in so much pain I felt like I was being tortured with my body giving out. All in all scary experience but so thankful I got a precious baby boy who will be two months tomorrow 😘

why does it make you nervous? it's better to do things on your own then be induced at all. my plan for this baby is all natural I don't want anything going in my body. I really hope I can do it.

I'm sorry Hun. My water broke on its own with my first 8 yrs ago but she was also 5 days late. And with my second the nurse broke my water on accident checking me. Right now I'm dilated to a 3/4. It makes me nervous but at the same time it doesn't. Hopefully your delivery day is better then the last @michelle2220

mine was very painful. they did cervadil twice bc the first time it didn't do anything. so that's 24 hours of doing nothing but being bored. after I was 3cm they started pitocin which wasn't bad till they broke my water and omg it was the worst pain I've ever felt I was in tears. I didn't want an epidural but had to bc it was too much. when it came time to push it was just painful too. totall 35 hours. but the recovery was the worst I had to be in a wheelchair for two weeks bc my back pain was horrible I couldn't even walk.
