shouldn't have tell my innocent black children that the world will judge them because the color of their skin..
@aniyahsmommy0403, most everyone in my family is from the south. I don't think people in the Midwest-which is where I am now, see it as much, but in the south it's very apparent.
It breaks my heart too! When we were trying for a baby we found out about a teenage girl who was being pushed to abort her baby. My Mom told our contact to the girl to tell her she knew a couple who would want the baby. The response my mother was given was "No, they won't want the baby. The baby will be black." We were so angry we both cried. Racism is real, still present and ugly as it ever was!
its sad. my heart hurts for all children of color regardless of race @mrsmord
shouldn't be that way anymore. I mean we should all accept each others skin color & race. it's so beautiful to learn and embrace different cultures. people are so fkn closed minded.
