Ugh been dilated at 2 since last week had my appointment earlier and only dilated to 2 and a half... she said maybe July 4th! I thought I'd be more dilated and that labor was gonna be easy and not so painful (because i didn't even realize I dilated to a 2) so now there's still a chance I'm gonna die (not literally)

I been walking this week so hopefully Monday I've dilated some!
How do you know if you are dilated? Does your water have to break so you can be dilated? I'm 38 weeks and I still don't feel labor stuff lol
3 cm dilated gonna have me walk around for a few hours to see if i progress or loose more fluid then go from there. If i don't dilate more I'll be going home.
