so i know you're supposed to wait 6 weeks until you have sex after a c-section. but while my husband and i were playing around, no penetration i ended up wanting more, and convinced him to have actual sex. i couldnt help it. my hormones were driving me insane. but there was no blood or cramping and we were careful to prevent any pregnancies. i know some say that as long as you feel good and you're not passing any bright red blood you can risk it. i just want others thoughts.

it is, ive been very careful. and i had mine on a friday too. it just drove me up a wall, he was getting relief and i wasnt. so i had to get me some. :) @serrano_girl
I am in sympathy with you. I just had a c section Friday and last night my husband had to stop everything because I was going to tear his ass up. I know what you mean about the hormones but I hope everything will be ok with you

My ob said as long as I felt fine and there was no pain it wasn't a problem. Just to listen to my body. That he'd had tons of people come in for their 6 weeks pp check up and already be pregnant again.
I couldn't wait either. I know you're supposed to wait. I waited about 3 weeks until I felt good enough down there. Luckily I've been ok since but I know the risk.
It's best to wait at least 6 weeks, even if you're not bleeding.
It's not about bleeding or feeling good. The reason doctors tell you to wait is so that your body can heal, you have an internal wound after giving birth that needs to heal and you have a higher chance of getting some type of infection. Anybody who says they did it and are okay are not people to listen to.
Listen to the doctor's. After a year of having my son, my body is just now getting to normal.
