When can you start going places with ur newborn???1month 2months?....I feel so paranoid taking him anywhere but at the same time I don't always wanna be home

I've been taking her out since she was a week old. She stayed in her car seat when she was first born and I just made sure to dress her appropriately. She loved and still loves being outside!
I was a single with my son and started taking him out at about a week old because I had things I had to get done. I had to take him to Walmart right from the hospital though, I had a car seat canopy and didn't let anyone lift it up to look or touch him
No I would not do the beach. I havnt and my son is almost 7 weeks. But grocery store target going on walks going to friends houses etc. no didn't get sick. at 5 weeks I even took to mammoth. Dr said it was fine just limit people touching by using a cover on car seat (:

I started bringing my son everywhere by 2 weeks I just didn't let people touch him
Oh that's smart with the blanket over the car seat in going to try it @jasminebowman yeah he's healthy I just get nervous cuz my mom always tells me not to take him out yet but he should be okay @ktkayxo
As long as your baby is healthy and you dress them appropriately for the weather you should be okay. Ive heard of women taking their babies out a few days after being born. Everyone has a different opinion! You can always ask your pediatrician for advice too
If you take him out just leave him in a car seat with a cover or in a baby carrier. I took her to target yesterday and it was hard she was not happy lol
