how do you mix breast milk and formula?? starting to dry up so I have to start giving my daughter formula but don't want to go straight to formula
I'm going to be transitioning soon too and wanted to know the same thing. If you want to keep breastfeeding though I would try taking Fenugreek. when I was drying up it helped increase my milk apply so much
I should know, but I don't. But if you're interested, you can look on kellymom.com for ways to boost your milk supply if you want to continue breastfeeding.
that's what I did but my daughter didn't have any issues. if you are nervous always give the pediatrician a call and wait to mix anything.
@eskawho, okay so if I make 2 oz of formula like it says on the can then just had 2 more oz of breast milk she should be fine. I'm sorry I'm a first time mom and never had to do this. my daughter was born with gastroschisis I'm nervous to change her milk
I did add it to the formula to make one bottle. it worked for us and my daughter had no trouble with it. so mix formula like it says on the box and then add breast milk but don't add extra formula
I had to sometimes because I only had 2 ounces of breast milk so I would mix formula first then add breast milk.
I was thinking about stretching my milk with formula if I start running out.... You just make the formula then pour your milk in 😊😊😊
