Is it normal for a 16 month old to want to be hitting everyone?
the other day I went to my friends house and when we got there her son started hitting Eli with every toy he found, he even try to kick him.
It just made me sad cuz my son just wanted to follow him everywhere but I wouldn't let him cuz the other kid was being so mean to him😔
and my friend says he does the same to her friend's baby, now they don't visit anymore because of it..

@elismommy428, Its normal but she needs to start teaching her son not to b hitting it takes time but it's dueable am prolly could b terrible 2 or 3
Could be the start of terrible twos
not really or at least not that I know of. his mom would tell him to stop and give him a slap on his hand but he got even more mad and would try to hit my son again

Does he have issues communicating? Other developmental delays? Kids do go through this stage but typically parents can derail the actions. It sounds like maybe mom is having troubles with him as well?
hmm maybe her hitting him is only reinforcing the behavior. some kids do fine with spanks others do better with time outs
