I just had my daughter on Sat , I had a traumatizing labor experience, and I haven't been the same..I love my daughter so much more than my own life but I tend to feel frustrated and overwhelmed and sad and all I do is cry, is this normal ? I'm happy one minute and sad the next, any mom's experienced this before? Help

No problem😊 it does go by sooo fast! I remember thinking that when when my son is 6 months he will be a completely different baby. He is and now in another 6 months he'll be a year! It's crazy

You couldn't have described it any better , that's my issue terrified of night time, I'm looking forward to those days where my daughter let's me sleep, I know the newborn stage passes pretty soon just at the time I feel like it will be like this forever but nope babies get older. So I have to focus on the light at the end of the tunnel , thanks again💜

I felt the exact same way! I was terrified of night time cause it was so challenging and my son was up constantly. By the time he was a month it was so much better and I didn't hate night time so much. I would cry every time it got dark because I knew night time was so hard. I'm 6 months pp now and love bed time lol

@mommy_faith, I just looked up baby blues sounds exactly like what I'm currently experiencing, it's just weird that I feel so alone yet I have a supportive husband and a big family helping me out yet I still feel like all this responsibility of taking care of a new born is mine and I have to deal with it on my own. I'm usually okay during the day but once night time comes I feel alone and since my baby keeps me up all night I get frustrated and overwhelmed so I guess that's why I get emotional at night. Idk, hopefully it goes away soon.

Everyone gets baby blues after having a baby. If it lasts longer than 2-3 weeks or gets worse then it could be postpartum depression but right now it's not you just had your baby! Your hormones are still so out of whack. Keep your head up momma you will be feeling better in no time😊 if you're worried about it I recommend calling your doc.

I'm 3 wks postpartum and feel the same way I'm having a hard time understanding it, it's like heartbreak in the worst way but sometimes a happy heartbreak like overwhelming love for this little angel, I'm too told it's complete normal but if it gets worse and you feel like hurting yourself or overly frustrated with baby and it goes on over 2 weeks tell your Dr right away it may be ppd.
. but baby blues are pretty much with every single new mommy I know. I'm so sorry you're feeling that way and I empathize, it'll be okay. crying is healthy and helps relieve the pain for a bit so don't hold back.and try to get some sunshine.
