Just curious how long it took for any preemies or iugr babes to get out of preemie clothes and diapers? Everyone told me I was stupid to buy preemie clothes and diapers for my iugr babe but I'm so glad I did. She is 5 weeks old and 5 lbs 4.5oz and far from fitting newborns. Even the preemies still have some growing room.

my iugr baby was in premie for 2 months and then newborn for about 10 weeks but I have seen other iugr babies grow out of clothes faster and gain weight faster than my daughter,  she can still fit into most 18 months clothes at almost 2 1/2 years old

My baby was born 5 lbs 10 oz and wore premie for a month and newborn for 6 weeks.
