I understand that all you can do is pray because even when you get induced you may not have baby that day but if your Dr says its ok and you are ready go for it everyone's experience is different I was over due fat and miserable wanted to be induced but it was hard @hayleynb

the least you can do is talk to dr about. they know what is going on with the baby. they should be able to at least let you know your options on it and their opinion.

At 39 weeks the baby is fully developed and asking definitely wouldn't be a problem since many doctors induce at 39 weeks and many women go into labor naturally then too. I wouldn't worry about asking.

I just don't want to make the wrong decision doing it to early and something to go wrong even tho I'm considered full term. I'm just nervous for the fact I live an hour away. My hubby is always having away baseball games, both our family's are hours away and I'm alone in this state. My doctor induces at 38-39 weeks because he works at different hospitals all over my area since I live in a rural place. So I already know I'll be getting induced the last week of November.

I was told by my dr that we can induce as early as day after my due date if everything is going ok and baby is healthy. but that's because he has a conference the Wednesday after our due date and will be gone for over two weeks. (he couldn't get out of the conference and I'm not comfortable with a stranger just coming in not having been the one to deal with my pregnancy until delivery if avoidable.) never have considered induction until now unless it was necessary but if baby don't come by May 14th we are gonna try to induce May 15th.

I asked with my first I was 40 weeks and they agreed. I was just emotionally, spiritually and physically done. Hell that's medical enough for me.

I was 41 weeks and had to get induced and I wouldn't recommend it the pain is worse when u get induced I had my first two on my own but this third one nearly took me out the game so much I had to get an epidural and I never had one with my other kids so I say if you don't medically need to be induced don't do it 😞😞😞😞😞😞

Most doctors will only agree if you're overdue or have medical issues
