I'm producing TO MUCH milk..... how do I get it to slow down without soaking my clothes during the process!?

Yes it wouldn't be my milk last only 40 days and she was in there 40 days I wanted to go longer but my body was not producing no milk at all. But the milk helps them grow it's very necessary while in the nicu

ah. ok. yeah stress is definitely in my life.... well maybe I'll store it for a while. .. I have another surgery next week... and really wanted her not to be moved to formula and I would like to have her in breast milk for at least a year.... so I'll keep it going. maybe investing in a deep freezer wouldn't be such a bad idea

Well it happened with me. I pumped every 2 to 3 hours even thru the night and it eventually slowed down the only time I'd have a good flow was when I was able to hold her skin to skin. But everyone is different. I was also stressed out a lot so that could've played a factor

You have a nicu baby it will eventually slow down since you guys are apart. It happened to me

ok.... I pump about 10 oz every 4 to 6 hours.... and with her being a preemie, she's eating 1oz every 3 hours.... so how long do you think I should wait before trying to slow it down? @edomke

Your daughter isn't a week old yet so I would slow it down quite yet because it's still adjusting

oh yeah! yeah I have some already stored but it's still way to much.... I'm going to need a whole other freezer! lol I totally forgot you can donate! that's a great idea!!!!
