I went to the doctor today and was told that my cervix is still closed...is that good or bad being close to 36 weeks?

Not a bad thing, I just went for a check up today and I'm finally starting to dilate (38+6). Some people don't even dilate until they're in labor. Effacement is a better sign with FTMs anyway, but there's no telling when a baby is ready!

I was closed until I was 39 weeks 3 cem at 41 weeks but I had to be induced. because I was further then 41 and it was medically unsafe for him to be in any longer.

each mommy ( baby) is different.

Lol I never dialated at all until they made me with drugs at 40 weeks. So u are ok.
