I had a very stressful day yesterday, my sister suffers from schizophrenia and paranoia. Well she has been on a lower dose of her medication that she takes to keep her mind functioning normally. Well I have noticed a big change in her mental health these past few days she left her boyfriend bc she swears he cheated but he really did not, her mental disability just makes her believe in events that didn't really happen and it is so sad bc she truly believes that he did so she is heart broken. I'm happy he knows and understands her condition, he is just giving her space to heal. She had a "breakdown/episode" yesterday and ended up calling the cops bc she was terrified and upset she thought me and my mom were trying to harm her for no reason at all. Which is just something caused by the paranoia. :(
It really breaks my heart to watch her go through this. I ended up having to take her to to hospital and was out until 3am taking care of her. She is back on her normal medication now so here within the next few weeks I can only pray her chemicals get back on the right track so that she can be her happy self again. :(
#pray for my sissy.

Yeah when you are young you don't understand and when your older you still don't but I couldn't even imagine feeling things are true and everyone you love calling you a lire or the nasty things you think. My dad woke up one day saying he saw visions of killing everyone in my house and said the blood on the wall was so real and none of it really happened and he didn't understand how we were alive. And I'm sure he keeps a lot of things to himself. It really made him suicidal. Just try to show your love best you can :) all we can do is love them and pray for them

yes, I am terribly sorry you and your family have to go through that. Its such a depressing thing to go through and watch someone you love be so lost and confused and scared. @liz41395

My daddy suffers from it and bipolar. My mommy always always always reminded us kids that dad is just sick and he loves us very much he's just sick and doesn't know what he's doing. He became abusive and they had to divorce for us kids to be safe. It must be so hard on him. Praying your sister gets the help she needs. Thank God she has a good man that knows she's just sick and needs the doctors to help.

Thank u....but remember if someone you love is having a episode even if they say leave them alone.. dont because some episodes when they come out of it they are alone and it puts more strain on a them...I learned the hard way when I pushed everyone away and had no one I stay in my home for a month before I opened the door to even go outside and wouldn't let no one in
