What do you guys think ? My husband had to go away for business this week . I planed a dinner with some friends of ours and their kids . It turns out the wife is sick but her husband and kids still want to come . It will be me my 3 kids and him and his two kids . I asked my husband if he was okay with this . But I haven't heard back from him . I am not sure if I should go ahead with the dinner or not . I don't want my husband to get upset or anything

If you and the other couple are pretty close, I'd keep the dinner plans. I know if my best friend got sick and only het husband was able to come, my husband wouldn't mind, but my husband also knows her husband. So just go with what you feel is right. 😀 have fun!
@jaces_mommy, well the only reason it came to question . Is because he knew they were all suppose to come over and I did not know how he would feel if I never told him the wife wasn't . My husband and I are very open about what goes on when one of us is away . I felt like if I didn't tell him and he found out from someone else then it would be like I was trying to hide something instead of just being honest . Also I respect and appreciate everyone's opinion .
I'd reschedule.. the fact u even questioned it is why. I feel like if it was no big deal the question wouldn't have even came to mind.
@San vvylynn1, the roles get reserved all the time . He works with most women and his business trip is with mostly women . One who is attracted to him and she makes it obvious as well . He also goes on guys night and goes to strip clubs . But I trust him 100% plus our son is best friends with their son and all day both boys have been super excited they are suppose to see each other today and my husband and I both agree that we just want our kids to be happy . This would make our son happy . Plus our friends wife really wants him to bring her back food . She has no problem with it . I don't think my husband does . If it does it means he doesn't trust me .
think of it as if the rolls were reversed. would you want your husband to still have the dinner with just the wife? I'd reachedule
I'd tell the guy let's reschedule when the wife is feeling better.
