This is what I don't get I'm in so much pain back pain , inner thighs and vaginal pain but the only thing you can offer and put me on are Tylenol 3 and percocet I think instead of making my baby get addicted to these narcotics they should just induce my labor I mean I'm 38 weeks I refuse to keep taking hard core pain meds
I would recommend having then swipe your membrane :) it sent me into labor within a few hours and had my baby the next night
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
Having some pretty intense constant lower back pain and maybe super light contractions. But can't tell because the back pain is way over powering contractions so I'm walking around my room to see if they get worse.
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
I do love the way people say you will know when your in labour and having contractions well I will be honest I didn't know and my pains weren't that severe till I was fully dilated I'm sure everyone has different pain levels
The closer it gets to my due date, the more scared I get. I'm not good with pain at all. ☹️
^^^yes! if they can do a membrane sweep, you should do it! my midwife wasn't able to do a full one for me at 40 wks and 4 dys but it started labor late that night. I know for some women it takes only hours before labor starts.
