I'm worried about my baby. I can only get her to eat for 10 minutes on one boob every 2-3 hours. She's a week and a day old. Is that enough?

Lol no you won't lol I had to see one a couple days after bringing my son home, I was there for a little over an hr and it was amazing! She taught me so much, I never had a problem again
@mamakimmi, I just can't get her to latch without someone's help it seems I've had several lactition consultants show me :/
It shouldn't hurt, something is wrong with the latch, try to see a lactation consultant, they're seriously life savers
If it's hurting she may not be latching well. Make sure you have a good latch because it shouldn't hurt. Also as long as she is having plenty poo and pee diapers she is getting enough milk.
@crunchymomma, @supermom1104 I have to cut her off cause it starts hurting so bad
its normal, she probably just gets full or wants to take a break, just make sure shea pooping and peeing
My one month old does that, she weighs 12lbs, as long as she happy and gaining weight it's fine :)
