I have a total of three kids including my two week old that I stay home with. are you breast or bottle feeding? burping is not always easy just be patient. I think the best way to know if they are done is to lay them down in their back. if there is no fuss then they are successfully done. latching problems are the most common reason for excess burping. if you can hear your baby sucking air try repositioning them in your boob.
