I don't wash if new from shop as always pick one behind the front etc, but if it's second hand I wash it even if it's still new :) xx

Ahh that scared me @bethanyjade thanks ladies I'm definetly going to do it now, I was thinking of doing it anyway when I finish work next week, I suppose people do maul them and stuff!! Also do you just use non bio, I heard that using comfort too is bad for their skin, I've already washed some bits as my Aunty bought me some bits from asda, that were in plastic coverings and as she smokes heavy they still smelled, so bless her I've washed them twice and now they fresh, looking forward to doing it actually haha xx

I washed everything :) just don't like the thought of it being in a shop and people mauling it and then putting it straight on my new baby. Also...When clothes are new they hold chemicals, dyes etc (Something I read somewhere)....so washing them gets rid of them..so less likely to irritate your babies skin xx

I've washed and ironed everything 🙈 I genuinely enjoyed doing it too as he's clothes are so cute and small! Also agree that anyone could have touched them in the shops and wanted everything fresh :-) xx

I would :) well and I am hahaha just because like everyone else is saying you don't know where they've been that's all :) I heard a story on the news a few months back about baby clothes being carried over from other countries on cargo ships and stuff, some insect had gotten in to them and layed microscopic eggs in the lining of the clothes and it made my skin crawl hahaha, no harm was done but still sounds gross doesn't it haha xx

I've washed everything. Don't like the thought that other people have touched things when it's going on his brand new skin haha x

I would wash them all to be on the safe side. I did with my little girl and have for this pregnancy too x
