So my baby is less than a week old, I had him Friday night. Just wondering if it is safe for him to sleep in his car seat like when I go visit family and stuff??

to be safe id get a moses basket if the baby will be sleeping for more then an hour while you are there as children have died from sleeping in their carsearts

It has been proven to not be safe for infants of any age to sleep in there car seats other than car rides where the seat is securely fastened in the correct position. Babies that young can't hold their heads up and could suffocate from their heads being slumped over and blocking their airway. I would say rather be safe than sorry.

i mean ive let my baby sleep in her seat but doctors and news say no put him on a bed on his back baby girl . it's something on the news saying  a baby girl died from that not trying to scare you just giving you facts.
