Any other medical professionals out there? What would you do? It's terribly early on in my pregnancy and I have no intention of saying anything to my boss or coworkers yet but...I just found out there is a scabies outbreak on one of the wings. I'm so nervous I'll have to cover that wing. The medication I would have to be treated with is not necessarily safe in the first trimester. Also I supervise the whole entire building on the weekends so there is a good chance I will have to at least have contact with this wing. Supposedly it is just one resident that has scabies but they isolated the whole wing and are treating everyone as if they have it. Would you say something to your boss or hope and pray you don't have to report to that wing?
When we had a scabies break out, all I could do was be careful. I wore the gown and gloves and did what I was trained to do. At night here there are only two of us, so it's just not possible to not care for the resident. Same with shingles. :-/
Hmmmm I'm so not ready yet. Have not even had my first doctors appointment yet. I can't imagine anyone being able to bottle information up like that. Shit always gets out. My boss would have to tell the scheduler so she doesn't schedule me there and such.
2 b on the safe side tell ur boss but ask them not 2 say anything yet
I know what I was meaning to ask y'all . Is it true that at the age of one your baby would have to switch to sippy cups because of their teeth rotting out?
The nurse told me I would have to stop Carmen from drinking out of bottles since she's has been switched to whole milk because it will start rotting out her teeth.🤔 Help me understand because either way wouldn't the whole milk still be in her mouth unless you brush her teeth ?
some girls should shut the hell up .. they always say if you don't have something nice to say then don't say it ! I hate judgmental people with closed minded views .
I find it pretty hilarious how people who have shown their true colors on social media snake away, delete the posts that outed them and come back on social media like nothing happened. Why do that, you outed yourself, so stay out. We still see you boo boo...

Just seen this email from my manager to my boss as I emailed my boss asking for my hours to be reduced...would you say that this email would be enough proof that they are discriminating against me and that they are purposely making my job difficult???
@ashalay88, thank you :). I guess I'm being crazy overly cautious. I think I'm gonna hope for now im on a deferent unit and if not I might say something. I'm not too worried about the weekend because I don't have to come on the unit unless there is an emergency.
