Curious on people's outlooks and opinions on this. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT😊 if one of your childs family members, could be an aunt, grandma, uncle, doesn't matter... is a good person, BUT is suffering from a drug addiction, would you have your baby no where near them ever, or let them visit as long as you are strictly supervising every once in a while?
My half sister in law had a huge drug problem and I wouldn't let her around my daughter and eventually left my home to move somewhere else because the home I was at was mad at me for not letting her around my daughter but I think if someone is toxic for you, they are toxic for your child. Drug=toxic.
my sons grandma is having a problem and I don't her around him. I'm sketchy about it 24/7 she hasn't met him at all.. I feel bad but I'm doing what's best for my child
I would be skeptical. but I would not allow them to be high around my child. you're either sober when you're over to see her, or you don't see her at all.
My dad is. And I only allow visits where I'm present and no overnight visits when he could be intoxicated while we're there.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
I would let them see the baby supervised in a public place. But they couldn't show up high eaither.
