A. has bronchiolitis :( and we had to go to hospital yesterday and stay in overnight due to his high temperature, drastically reduced fluid intake and a little wheezing in his lungs. We're home now and he's feeding a little better but it's still rough.
Apparently it's super common during the winter months. Especially for the little ones. I was so worried about dehydration on top of his bad cough, congestion and fever.

It starts off like a cold but then gets worse! Be careful and look out symptoms like how your LO is breathing - does the whole belly breathe, do they chinch in at the ribs when taking in a breath or breathe in a wave like motion! Don't wish this on anyone

my daughter had it when she was 3 weeks old, it's the worse thing ever :( calpol and put olbas oil in warm water x

Oh my. That terrible. That poor sweetie. Hope you and your little ones are all good and healthy this winter! I just didn't even know it existed. But my little one ate next to nothing yesterday and was burning up ...😔

I know how you feel. my 3rd was hospitalised for 7 days on a drip and oxygen at 7 months then my youngestat 5 weeks old ended up being put to sleep intubated and fully ventilated for 5 days. he's was extremely poorly and got hib on top of bronciolitisand ended up with a collapsedlung too. then at 8 weeks old 2 days after his first jabs needed up with bronciolitis again! thankfullynot as bad secondtime xx
