Can't stand when people complain about others liking their posts...it annoys me. What if someone likes the question you're asking because they're also curious about that same question.

Maybe they're liking it because they think it's a good question?
well I know how they feel unlike Facebook the like button doesn't allow you to follow the answers everyone gives it's not about them liking the post it's more about not getting any response not even a "I was wondering the same thing"
