2 weeks today and my son wants to sleep exclusively on my chest. He also wants to be held all the time. I like using my baby wrap, it helps a lot , but I'm curious how long it's going to be like this..
oooohh. my daughter has slept in between us since we brought her home from the hospital. I'm sorry! maybe just putting him in the co sleeper to nap? get him used to it again. try gently rocking the co sleeper to see if he will fall back asleep after you lay him down? good luck! :)
@mahkaimommy, I hope it'll end soon, I'm scared to hurt him at night ;(
@jaydebuggsmama, I'm scared to use it at night, but he just doesn't want to sleep without me. I don't want to sleep with him on my chest because I'm scared to do that. First week he slept in co-sleeper with us, but now he just needs to sleep on me. I really want him to sleep in his co-sleeper again
its okay to put him in the swing too! my 6mo old daughter still uses hers every now and then during the day when she falls asleep on me. She is almost too big for it now so soon I'll stop using it. But use it so you can get a chance to shower or eat!
I think once he gets a little older it will become a little less comfortable to sleep on your chest ( at least Thats what it seemed to be for my daughter) Right now the sound of your heart beat and your breathing is soothing to him.
I know exactly how you feel they are so use to our scent they love to be under us and the more he grows and teach milestones the independent he became I couldn't shower until someone came home I use to cook with him on me in the carrier and still do sometimes
@jaydebuggsmama, @mahkaimommy , I like him sleeping on me, I just want to be able to have some time for myself, so I could drink water , go to the bathroom or take a shower .. :( it would be great if he didn't mind to stay in his crib for at least 5-10 minutes.. Baby swing works fine if he fall asleep in my arms first. But I'm scared to use it . I don't want him to get used to it and sleep in it all the time
My son was like that but now since he older he likes sitting up playing with his toys only time he wants me when its time to eat for a change or bedtime
my daughter had to sleep on my chest as well. She slept that way until she was about 3 months. I guess it just depends on the baby! I miss her sleeping on my chest though :(
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
@jaydebuggsmama, I tried rocking, didn't work. He only calms down if I'm holding him. Thank you, I'll try something else...
