Nursing was not for me. But that didn't mean my baby couldn't still get the food nature intended she get. Your baby getting breast milk is more work than formula feeding. Whether you nurse or exclusively pump. But knowing my baby is getting the best gives me such peace of mind. I'm not bashing moms who formula feed..as long as your baby is fed it's all that matters! If your babies won't latch, or it's too painful, know that pumping is an option. Don't give up ladies I promise it's worth it!
I give you props for pumping. Bc it's so much work I pump but only when I am too full to great a stash! But if I had to pump than feed I couldn't do it! Your one strong momma!
I did both for 2 months!! Became to much especially when he wants to eat right on time! And he wasn't getting enough, also I am glad for trying he's now 4 months old and smart as a champ and weighs 18 pounds! Too advanced for his months lol! And that bottle rack reminds me of his lol he has a ton of bottles.
Omg sooo true!!! I've almost given up several times but I stuck w it & I'm SO happy I did. It's so rewarding!! I'm getting the hospital grade pump today to help me pump more & cut the time in half bc lord knows it's so hard to do w a baby! I'm sticking w it til he's 1 year old! 😊
I've gotten used to it..and it's what's working right now. Nursing was too overwhelming for me, being that I had to feed her every 2 hours, I felt like I couldn't get anything done or run any errands. Once I started pumping I felt so much more relieved, because other people could feed her as well. There's many reasons why mom's end up formula feeding, all very valid. It's what works for you. @steph11 @edomke
