Today my son was finally taken off of the breathing tube! All of his chest tubes and his dialysis catheter have been removed! Only thing left are 2 picc line IV's. Larry Jeffery has been through SO much in his 6 weeks of life, and through it all he has proven how unbelievably strong he is. He has beaten all the odds and is still improving every single day. Hoping to have him home in the next week or so! Thank you to everyone who has prayed for him and our family.

omg, I just read your updates and am so sorry to hear he's had such a rocky start. But so, so happy to hear he's on the road to recovery- and what a guardian angel your lactation consultant was! Sending prayers and positive thoughts for a quick and smooth recovery. 💙

@levleah, thank you SO much! My little guy has proven that he can handle so much more than his momma can. And yes, she was definitely his guardian angel! I don't know what we would have done without her!
