I have a question for the ladies who have a navel piercing. Before I took it out a while ago that area was red and irritated. But I left it in cause I was waiting for my maternity navel ring to come in. Took about a week. But that stupid thing was cheap and broke within the first couple of days. So I gave up and took it out completely. It's looked like this ever since. At first I thought it was bruised but it's been like that since I believe I was 25weeks. So is it just a stretch mark around it or..? Anyone else have anything similar?

lol same here when I hot mines a few weeks later I found out I was pregnant and it got so irritated and red I had to take it out and my plastic belly rings would always brake it the ball would fall off on its own lol
@mommy3kings that's crazy. If I would of known I was going to get pregnant so soon after getting this I would have never got it lol
I had the same thing happen with my almost 4 year old it got exactly Luke that so I took it out I still til this day have the mark on me but it has gotten lighter thru the years

Hi! I'm a piercing artist and happen to also have this pierced my self. Don't worry! It's kinda like a bruise, it might stay a while if not forever after you have your baby. It's just when you have a foreign hole in your body and then it gets pushed on by say your belly growing it will send extra blood rushing to that spot sometimes it can even hurt sometimes it just looks like it might hurt. It's just cause then your pricing first healed the skin where a navel per icing goes through is a small portion of your belly so it's thinning out the scar tissue area. Don't stress though it's just blood rushing to a spot that is or was at one point(when you got the piercing ) sensitive tissue.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
