I'm 33 weeks and still work 50 hours a week, consisting of 5 10 hour days and sometimes can be more than that. My husband isn't crazy about me working so much but agreed I'd work till my doctor pulled me out. Well on Wednesday my boss told me I'd be working a 4 am to 4 pm shift on Tuesday. I live about 40 mins from work so I'll leave about 315 and considering my replacement is always late I'll probably get home about 445. My husband isn't happy and is seriously mad at me cause I couldn't do anything about it. 90% of my shift is on my feet and a lot of times I don't get a chance to eat. How does anyone handle This? He says I'm not working the shift but as assistant manager I don't have a option...
I would tell your doctor that you have so much pain and so much stress just ask if they can put you on leave early no hurt in trying
I know it's to much and I tried to get it changed, but didn't work. I haven't mentioned it cause I never eat a ton, I've only gained 5 pounds the whole pregnancy. They say the baby is perfect so I figured I was okay. But I go back in 2 weeks and will tell them I'm having to work 12 straight hours and not getting to eat cause I'm getting so exhausted!
Thanks guys! Did I mention were trying to find a home to buy/ packing up our apartment cause we have to be out 12 days after my due date? 😁😁 so much going on!
