@elenaj, that is very true! my sons school only offered it until kindergarten was over

Yea my son needs a lot of that too . His school told me that in the special Ed classes they are small and have an teacher and 2 aides .

@elenaj, his school tried that with my son as well but quickly realized he needs sk much redirection that the teacher couldnt do it alone

Aww . How cute he knows who is walking down the hall by the sounds they make . So cute . I can't get my son a one on one so we are putting him in special Ed for the 4th grade .

@elenaj, he has had an IEP since kindergarten and will be in 3rd grade, he doesnt have a lot of accommodations but he gets a para that works with him, he gets pulled out of class for tests and he has to be given more time to complete things since every little thing is distracting to him. He even knows who is walking down the hallway at school just by the sounds they make

Yup my dr prescribed my son something too with Melatonin . It doesn't work . My son has a lil motor in him . Lol . What are some of the classroom accommodations he gets while in the class ? We just had an IEP for my son on Friday , we are putting him in a special Ed Class next year .

@elenaj, yeah he takes meds during the day as well, the doctor prescribed hom something to help calm him down and help get him tired he takes it with melatonin but some nights it doesnt seem to work at all, like last night, I really am in for NO sleep once this baby comes lol

My son has ADHD as well . My son is on medicine during the day but at night I have to give him sleeping pills so he will sleep . If not he will literally stay up all night .
