Well my son naps like 4 times a day but 3 of those are power naps. she said he should be taking a long one in the morning and a power nap around 3. and sleep through the night. Most of the time he sleeps fine at night. He falls asleep around 830 and doesn't wake up to eat till 5 then is up for the day at 7

mine took 3 at that age. One short mid morning nap, a longer after lunch nap, and then a short mid evening nap. About every 4 hours he napped

that's how it was at our 6 month appointment. they asked how many naps she took and I didn't even know, she slept on and off whenever she wanted. so we managed to get it to where she takes 2 naps a day. she wakes up around 9-10am, goes down for a nap around noon, wakes up to play and eat, lays down for another nap around 3pm. then our rule is no naps after 4pm. so we play, eat, go outside, do anything to keep her entertained so she will stay awake until bedtime at 8pm and she sleeps nearly all night minus the occasional waking once for a bottle. you just have to keep them entertained, or they will want to go back to sleep and whine if they're bored. play games, give them lots of toys, listen to music, read, go outside, go on walks, anything! it's hard sometimes but you will find a schedule that works for you!
