Just trying this app for the first time today! I was using " what to expect" but was not impressed with the negativity on there. I'd really like to utilize this app to ask questions and to see if others have been feeling the same way. For example: has anyone ever experienced tail bone pain from pregnancy? I'm in my second trimester and I'm in excruciating pain. Thoughts ? Advice ? Treatment ?

Oh I'm glad the chiropractor worked! Yep my doc said the same about the baby putting pressure. I haven't really gained any weight wonder what would happen once I do. Oh by all means enjoy your baths as long as its relaxing hot! I guess I should go to a chiro myself soon.

Thanks for the comment:) I went to the chiropractor tonight and she relieved some tension. She also said that because of the growing baby it's causing pressure on my pelvic and tail bone floor. She advised me to sit on a exercise ball or donut. And gave me some stretching poses. I just had a bath and feel a bit more relaxed. How come you say not hot baths?? I love my hot baths I have at least one a day! Not too hot but relaxing hot.

Welcome! I too am new here. I'm 14 weeks along with my first and I've felt tailbone pain along with hip pain which sometimes radiates till the thigh. It seems as if my nerves are stretching. I discussed this with my doc and she suggested physiotherapy and said I should start early since the pain is likely to get worse. I haven't really looked into that trying some yoga at home first. She said it was Sciatica pain which is common in pregnancy (apparently everything is). Try a warm oil massage or warm (not hot) bath that temporarily works. Do discuss this with your doc and let me know what he/she said :)
