Just don't touch them!! 😂 Use a supportive sports bra (I ended up putting 2 on so it was tight), don't hand express or anything as you will produce more, warm flannels can help to ease them a bit. I never tried cabbage leaves but many say they work. And the best piece of advice that the midwife gave me was "do not let the shower touch them!" Because it can stimulate them to produce milk. Hope you and little one are well otherwise? Xx

My best guess would be that you dont want to remove much of any milk. Things that have helped when I have been engorged/had mastitis are:
Standing in a warm shower with your boobs under the running water, dont have the pressure on high!
Warm baths,
Warm flannels,
I have always been told not to use cabbage leaves to help with engorgement if you plan on breastfeeding, as it dries up your supply pretty fast. So may be exactly what you need! X

Don’t pump them it will cause them to produce more milk. (Assuming your bottle feeding if you want them to dry up sorry I’m clueless 😂) Definitely warm flannels over them massaging and painkillers. Right sports bras help too if you have them. Hopefully as good as new in a couple days xxx

I read using your pump can help as well. Do you have one?

Omg they're like rocks arent they. Cabbage leaves work. Also in the evenings I used to sit with a towel underneath me and hold warm flannels on them to relieve the engorgement. Definitely remember the towel though because you will stream 😅

Supportive bra, use ice packs and medication like ibuprofen to help with the pain and swelling. Usually hand expressing helps with the engorgement if that’s what you mean? Apparently cabbage leaves are also suppose to help! It’s awful isn’t it? Hopefully in a couple of days it’ll pass and go down for you!😩xx
