Has anyone gone through this?, I’m not quite sure I understand..my youngest is 1year 6 months yet my health visitor seems to of referred him to speech and language assistant? Not sure I understand?🤔

Me personally would take the appointment only cos I've got to wait 18months for my eldest to get an appointment so if they are offering it to you now I'd snap at it because u might get to my eldest age and wish ud of took it. But thats just my opinion, he's far to young but it could be a good thing. And won't know until you try? But he also hasn't had a chance just yet has he 🙄 xx

No! This is what I don’t understand! I’ll keep the appointment just to see what they say as I’m curious now 🤔. I’m trying to get my eldest with speech and language too but I think school are referring him for that🙈it’s just a nightmare and I was so confused that I was like do you mean my other son?😂she was like no I was like erm oh okay hahahah xx
Does he have any issues regarding feeding/eating/drinking? They also work with that but I agree with everyone, he's far too young to be concerned about speech. They won't refer here in my Borough until they are 3.
No has no issues with feeding or eating or drinking he’s a really good eater and has been since he’s been on foods! She said it’s not a referral?, but clearly it is because the HV has passed my details on to her and obviously expressed concern?
I'd take the appointment just out of curiosity of what they'd say 🤔🤷♀️most one and half year olds can't talk or just say the odd word surly there just gonna say they all talk in their own time 🤦♀️

@jessicab3 I bet the person that comes out will be annoyed that the health visitor has referred you wasted her time lol because they do a speach thing at 2yrs and even then if your kids not talking they don't tend to bother till there 3 🤦♀️
