So the doctors did nothing something just kept tell me to get outta that hospital. I got there at 8 something pm. I got home at 2:50 am i heard some things i probably shouldn't have heard. Like the nurses questioning orders, nurses laughing and people who couldn't breathe, nurses calling patients names. The whole time im sitting there reading the bible trying not to freak out. All they did was take blood and urine at about 9:30 -10. I sat there for hour i got up and ask how much longer i would be there. I was told they was waiting on labs she would send a nurse to talk to me . Nurse came 30min later took a ultrasound only cool part they let me see. After that i sat for hours again doctor came basically had no clue what was wrong told me he would give me nausea,Tylenol, and anti-diarrhea meds. Once again i sat and waited nurse comes at 1something with fluids and meds. She gave me nausea meds in iv and tylenol pills. I told here i didn't want the fluid because i been there long enough i was sitting around the covid19 positive people and my ride was there. She said okay went and told the doctor . 2:40am she came with the ama papers for me to sign and told me i could leave to call my ob . Soooo i did At the front door i realized i still had my iv ... 🤦♀️ i still left took it out at home. Basically all that time wasted..

@thatregalmujer nope not a chance. I always deliver at the same hospital downtown. I went to this hospital because its closer to my house and my pcp is right next to it.

Wow, what a horrible experience that must have been, smh, they didn't even remove the iv. Is that normal? I've never had to get treated in the ER, and delivery was the only time I've ever had an i.v. so idk what it's supposed to be like
No she was supposed to take it out . I didn't even get discharge papers... nor did i get the other meds. It was terrible.
@albertrettazariah1386 is this the hospital you'll be delivering at?
