I get this, BUT then again, we dont know they story, theres a million reason why the child or children may not have a mask on, so we cant simply say that makes them a bad parent. This is why there is an age requirement, so you won't see children under a certain age wearing them.

I don’t get this either. I don’t even take my kids to the store. And if we have to go anywhere else, they have their masks on...if they don’t wear it, we don’t go inside/get out of the car. No exceptions. If I absolutely have to have them with me, we do a pickup bc it’s not worth the risk. I’d rather be too safe than not safe enough when it comes to my babies!!

Im not talking about the ones that have to but k see so many ignorant ass ppl walking around like i said above tbe parent walking into a convenient care and there 7ish crawling on tbe floor with no mask to even try. Or ppl walk in tbe store with a group of ppl and a baby why couldn't one of u stay safe with that baby in the car.

My kids don't wear one but they also don't leave the cart.
My oldest won't be going inside the store anytime soon. She has this texture thing with stuff on her face. As of 5 pm it's mandatory to wear a mask children under 5 are exempt....
Aubrey's over 5 so I guess she's just not going in 🙃

We stay away from people in public. It’s hard and not everyone’s child is the same. Some kids wear them and others can’t/won’t for whatever reason. I don’t judge the parents because I don’t know why they don’t on a mask. I know my situation so I always think we could be in the same shoes.

Luckily I have my husband but he'd have to sit in the car with my oldest.

I don't drive so both of us have to go. We try limiting it to one week trips

I go into the store with my kids and here 10 and over are required a mask. My 2 yr old will not keep one on, my 5 month old of course can’t wear one and my 7 year old is always pulling his down. Would I love to not have to take them into a store? Of course but I’m a single mom and that’s just not realistic. Maybe they’re situation is like mine. Maybe their child is on the spectrum and has an issue with things on their face.

@hakunamafuckitall, I get that too. My kids remain in a cart or holding my hand and we do the best to avoid people. I try to make sure the kids don’t touch things and I bring hand sanitizer. It’s a hard situation for these kids.

@dontblockmesis-imjustspeakingfacts, it is a hard situation. We only have 2 stores that have pickup and they are always full. My husband is always at work and I have no choice but to take my 4 year old. I take wipes and wipe down the cart and put in him in the seat so he can’t run around. He wears a mask but like this morning, he sneezed in it, rubbed it into his face and then threw it on the floor because it was wet. I didn’t have a spare, so we checked out and left.

@hakunamafuckitall, that’s exactly how I explained it to my almost 6 year old thankfully my 2 year old wears it she occasionally pulls it down but not often. I guess it may be harder for single parents if they are in the situation where their child won’t wear one and they have no one to watch them.
