I live in a VERY safe area and all the kids in our neighborhood ride their bikes or walk to school with each other and without adults. The elementary school is less than a half a mile away.

No. My kids can’t walk home from school cause it’s in a major and very very busy road. It’s too far away. Now growing up I walked about a mile home from school but I was always with a big group

I would NEVER ever allow my children, especially elementary aged walk home alone. We see this in the cities, and I'll never understand it! The way this world is now a days, it's too dangerous.
