So our insurance company tried to tell us we have a clause in our policy that states we don’t get OT or PT or speech for Autism. So against the law. Long story short we are under review and we are screaming disability discrimination

Oh I know, I used to work in insurance right as the laws changed so I know better. We already had an attorney, she’s the attorney/advocate who helped win the kaiser case that got everyone ABA back in 2011. She’s already on it.
Hubby’s company has intervened and now we have benefits. The case manager seems mad about it too. Oh well, do your job!
And right now we're trying to go through hoops for a tss worker because my son was diagnosed with adhd and insurance only covers autism diagnoses.

I'm sorry, insurance companies suck sometimes. We almost got stuck with a $43,000 helicopter bill because they tried claiming the company was out of network at first even though we had no choice in what helicopter company was used. 😩 I hope you can get things worked out!
