I actually wonder how bad teething pain is... do you reckon it’s actually horrendous or it’s just niggly and babies just aren’t used to feeling pain?

Not sure 🤔 Maya’s teeth didn’t bother her... first teeth came through and I had no idea about it. Maybe it varies from child to child? Because when baby sitting my Friends baby he really struggled with it, had to give him bonjela, teething powder and some calpol for it. Whereas never did that with Maya as she never showed signs of discomfort other than going off food for abit but she didn’t cry or anything x x

I think it must really hurt! Especially as they have no idea what’s going on.

Oh god, don't! i have a fear of dentists anyway, its that bad i have one tooth that the dentist wants rid of but im putting it off as long as i can.
I cant believe a bloody tooth can cause so much pain!
Oh hun go get it sorted!!! It will only get worse!! I completely ignored mine until I was literally on the floor screaming in agony, my face was all swollen. I had to wait for the antibiotics to get rid of the infection and then had root canal (which honestly wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be)
Plus all your dentist stuff is free now!
@mrsbodell i know, i need to man up, 3 babys later and bloody scared of a tooth being removed haha. Its a tooth that can ish be seen too, so that's not helping me. Xx
I think they must surely be agony breaking through, there nice little gums getting torn for a tooth to come through.. Ive not had a deep route canal and i deffinatly don't want one now neither 😂
I had an infection in the root of my tooth when I was in labour with Maeve. I’m sure I was on the gas and air for that pain rather than labour pains!
