Wine drinkers:
I have not experienced much with wine. I drank Beringer white zinfandel and chardonnay alot, that was my go to. I had a few others but was not a great fan. Please inform me of a nice sweet ish wine. I like a light wine, haven't tried to many bold ones. Dry is okay but not to dry.
((Yes for after delivery. I'm dieing for a glass so I'm pre planning and day dreaming of what bottle to have hubby pick up after we are home.))
**I'm aware of breastfeeding and alcohol and ECT, just looking for wine advice not life advice😘 TIA

I love your disclaimer lol
I hate that it has to be done and people can't just stick to the question posed like 99% of the time 😳

Your good to breastfeed mama! That info about dumping milk is outdated. The info now says if you can drive you're ok. Just don't nurse until 3-4 hours afterwards. Have a bottle of breast milk if baby needs to eat before then. And YES you can pump or even collect your milk that's leaking in your breast pads from the letdown while nursing. Get a Haakaa or Naturebond silicone breast pump for the first 3 weeks before using your electric pump. I can tell you I collected over 3 ounces this way which is what baby will eat in the first 2 weeks anyway!
See below for link to NatureBond:
I love Sutter House’s white zin. It’s Olive Gardens house wine and it’s awesome. Not very expensive either.
🤗thank you
Moscato is a good light one- put 1 ice cube in it to help chill the flavor- same goes for white zen. I'm more of a bold wineo myself- cabs, merlots and chardonnay. My brothers like Lambrusco as far as a light sweet red goes
Thank you!
Ok you’re in TN so you can probably find Muscadine wine. It’s the best but it’s sweet. Different sweet than any other kind of wine though, it’s like sweet and juicy, idk. It’s just yummm. It’s a southern thing though which is why it could be hard to find.
I do love muscadines! Thank you
Moscato or Riesling is a good option. However, white zin is very sweet and Chardonnay is fruit forward (no added sugars like white zin). So depending on what you’re looking for, Riesling is going to be less sweet than Moscato.
Hmmm. Very good input! Thanks! 🤗
I’m a fan of Piesporters and Rieslings 👍👍
Is that a sweet or dry wine?
@skymomof4, they’re sweeter than Chardonnay, but in a good way
@scruffy.nerf.herder Thanks 🤗
I’d go for rosé if you want a sweeter wine
Third time's the charm! Your the third to say this. I think unless someone posts something reallllly intriguing, I'm going with Rosé. Thanks🤗
If you like it on the sweeter side Villa M Blanco or Rose are both very good.
That's the second rose suggestion. May be on to something 🤗 thanks
Barefoot rose is okay. I'm not an avid wine drinker though.
I've also had Stella Rosa which has some good wines.
@mychemicalshaymance I told my hubby for our anniversary I want to do a wine tasting. My daughter will be about 3 months.
@skymomof4 That sounds so fun! I've always wanted to do a wine tasting but I'm more of a hard liquor lover 😂 just can't get into wine.
@mychemicalshaymance I don't drink beer and liquor is way to much. I'm a super light weight drinker. So one-two glasses of wine is all I need here and there. I like to drink a glass cooking dinner. Maybe one with dinner, but not usually.
I’m from Australia so not sure if this type of wine is available to you where you are, but I love me a nice big cold glass or a pink moscato or rosè.. moscato wine is a sweeter kind of wine as the grapes used are picked towards the end of the harvest season which makes them a sweeter kind of grape, so if the pink or rosè isn’t for you a white moscato is still just as good
Thanks! I actually think I've seen it. I will have to look into it. 🤗

Thanks!
Everyone usually automatically think "she's going to go buy a bottle pregnant 😰" or "let me tell her about alcohol and breastmilk just in case"
