If you chose to not do the whole Santa thing with your kids, I have no hard feelings. But please teach your kids that some kids do believe in him so don’t go telling other children he isn’t real. I know so many kids that stopped believing because of other children spoiling it. 😊

My kids won’t believe in Santa but I’m not going to teach them to lie to others just to make them feel better. If another child asks them if they believe in Santa I expect my children to be truthful about what they do or don’t believe in. My children will grow up with others telling them that they don’t believe in God or God isn’t real so I think my kids should be equally honest about their beliefs but in a respectful manner even if others aren’t so respectful.

My oldest got told by my husband and he said he doesn't want our kids to believe in Santa either. He says we don't have a chimney so how would he get in? And he works all year to but them the best things that they want so a fat guy in red suit ain't gettin all the credit. I get it but the Santa thing was fun for her. But tbh the whole Santa thing isn't the true meaning of Christmas to begin with.

I totally agree with this. I don't celebrate Christmas and Greyson won't be but his half brother does. Once Greyson is old enough to understand, my husband and I plan on having a talk with him about not spoiling it for his half brother.(if his brother doesn't know by then)

Ikr as a kid I was always sooo amazed but the thought of Santa, and my friend and her family made fun of me for still believing @ 9 years old so I stopped believing. It’s so much fun looking forward to it.

@alyssa99 exactly! My little brother is always trying to tell them that Santa isn't real 🙄 but I always tell them not to listen to him.
