Inhave a 5 year old girl and shes on vacation with my sister in law and shes been complaining her throat hurts since thursday but today got worse and have a bad cough i think is strep throat the way she describe it i had called a on call doctor so that he/she can send her a prescription for strep throat is there anything my daughter can have to relieve the pain a lil? I know tylenol or Pedialyte drink liquids but im at work and just gets me upset i cant be around when my baby sick 😞

@goingtobemotherof4babies, absolutely! This is off the wall, but, when I had mono last, I went to Target and bought a cheap snow cone maker.
Less than $30.00.
Munching on the shaved ice was SO soothing on my throat.
And, it hasn’t been wasted money; my daughter and I make snow cones pretty regularly.

@goingtobemotherof4babies, you can get it at Walmart, cvs, walgreens, Target, ect. ❤️ just have her open super wide and spray way far back into the throat. It numbs a LOT, so try to avoid her tongue & cheeks. Aim as far back as possible. 🤗

Ive has strep and mono like a million times.
A warm bath / lots of steam helps. A Chloraseptic spray will also help a ton!
