I wouldn’t give up my dogs for the world. They’re like kids to me.

@lnkedupmommy, I get that! where we moved they have dogs to but there grandfather in because a new company took over and people who owned it before allowed dogs

Definitely not. We only look for apartments that allow dogs. Our landlord doesn’t know about our cat or lizards but she knows about our two small dogs

Definitely not. I’ve had my dog for 9 years and my cat for 10 years. In that time I’ve moved 7 times. In my opinion, I took on the responsibility to protect and care for them. Studies have been done and it’s shocking how depressed and anxious dogs and cats get when re-homed. 6 months ago I moved to Nevada, and we got denied two places because of my cat. And that was the ONLY reason. My husband alone made 3x the monthly rent. We just kept looking until we found the right house. It took longer than we anticipated, but, they are family. We can’t just find them a new home.

We got rid of ours but they stayed in the family so we still see both of them.
And we needed to move out of where we were so our kids came first it was beyond sad but we know there both super happy and well taken care of

I'm only supposed to have one cat where I live but I had 3 before I moved here. I only got rid of one because I didn't have her that long but I kept my other 2 and the landlord only knows about 1 lol
