feel sad

One of my twins almost always puts herself to sleep. She will fuss and won't go to sleep with me holding her so I put her in her rock and play and she falls asleep. She's 4 months old and I feel bad that she would rather do it herself. She doesn't cry the second I put her down so I know she's fine, but I just feel like she's lonely by herself. I'm right next to her but I love the cuddles. But the other twin needs help going to sleep.

My oldest was/is like that, by 5 months we couldn't rock her to sleep she wanted to lay tummy down/butt up and cried any other way. To this day she doesn't care to cuddle :(

My 2 year old still loves to be cuddled to sleep.
And yes she still loves to be cuddled during the day. And some nap times she wants me to help her sleep.
Me and her are actually cuddling right now :)
It's hard with her because she has always been the one that needed me most since she was born and she has always needed more help with feedings and now she's becoming more independent.

That is probably natures way of helping you manage two babies. ? If she seems happy and her needs are being met I wouldn't feel too badly about it. My first was a cuddle bug and my second just wants to go go go. She's a much more independent sleeper.

That would probably make me sad too, but remember that you are responding to and accommodating her needs. Does she let you cuddle her at other times?
