I had my 39 week check up on 5/18. My cervix was soft and I was 1cm dilated. My OB did a membrane sweep. I was due on 5/21 and trying for a VBAC and she was hopeful the membrane sweep would start spontaneous labor.

I was nervous as well-my hospital was 30 minutes away (although I'm fairly certain my husband made it there in 10 minutes. Lol). Hopefully, your labor will progress smoothly and you'll have plenty of time to make it to the hospital! Good luck!
Congrats!!! I'm trying for a vbac too. I have 5 weeks left of this pregnancy. I live in a very small town so the local hospital don't do vbac. I have to drive 1hr to a different hospital that will do vbac. I'm a little nervous.
