I second the straightener. I have completely straight hair and this is the only way my curls last and I don't have to use any product ?

Lol I'd go to someone but the ceremony is in the morning and I won't have time. Indict use mouse because it weighs me down. What I do is use a light weight spray volumizer and blow dry upside down or with a round brush. This was done with a 1 in curling iron (i think that's the size) in one inch sections and then the curls were clipped and lightly sprayed with hairspray. I toke then down when cooled. The curl was good, but I tried to shape it kind of in that pinup 40/50's do lol but failed. I think imma just curl and pin it up on my head so it'll stay all day and worry about forgiving out other stuff later lol. I just need tondo something with myself once in a while that doesn't just involve throwing my hair back in a straight ponytail.

I've had my hair done by someone and I told them don't even bother with curls it won't stay at all.Well they spent tons of time on it and not even an hour later it was super straight again lol my hair is straight as straight can be and so thin and flat

My hair doesn't hold curl either. I have tried everything and it won't happen. I've always had to use 200+ bobby pins to give the look of curls.

Have you thought about going to a stylist that day? A bad hair day for a wedding would seriously stress me out!

Alright. I have thin hair and mine never seemed to hold a curl. Ended up going into cosmetology.

Don't use mousse it weighs your hair down. Same for gel.

Get a good heat protectant. Honestly the one by treseme (idk how to spell it) is good and smells like apples.

Spray that all over your hair.

Once it dries make sure your hair is detangled and then spray hairspray in. A light mist just enough to give your hair enough grip. The one by suave is good with the pink cap. Kinda smells like pears.

Section your hair in the bottom part middle part and top part. Take 1 inch sections and curl. I tend to count to 10-15 depending on how loose I want it. When your counting is up don't let the curl fall. Let it out into your hand and form it back into the circle shape around your fingers and pin it against your head with a bobby pin. Kinda like pin curls.

Do this to your entire head taking special care of the top pieces since those are seen more.

After you're finished pinning them spray your entire head with a light mist of hairspray. Not too much again cause it'll weigh your hair down.

Wait about 20 minutes or until they're cool. Use that time to do your makeup.

Unpin them all carefully and flip your head upside down and lightly shake with your finger to separate them a bit.

Turn right side up, use hairspray again, and you can weave some of the curls together if your hair is too voluminous. But that's a good basis and minor styling based on your preference is all that's needed. Just more adjusting.

You should be set :)

Edit: also brush out each section before curling and itll be smooth and shiny!

Get a curling iron and wrap thin sections AROUND the iron. Don't use the little clip part. And hold it in place for about 45 seconds. When you're done with your entire head, shake it out so the curls seperate. Comes out super pretty and sexy!

Buy, moose, gel and hair spray.

Shower. Wash hair. When you get out , lather with moose and a bit of gel. Like a cocktail mix it. Then while your head is upside down (follow me) spray hair spray while crinkling your hair. ( Like grab tip then squeeze into a ball with the rest of the hair. Shake what your momma gave you and repeat until satisfied.
