@jleona, I just quit cold turkey (lol, pun intended) nearly 5 years ago. I dropped 20lbs, and morally I feel amazing.
This may sounds really messed up, but whenever I start wanting meat, I watch some kind of clip or documentary on farm life / factory farming and my mind clicks right back over and I’m all good again.

@jleona they're a bit pricey but they do go on sale here and there.

Also, order a vegan cook book for beginners! That’s another thing I did :)

@jleona I completely understand and if you feel like you can handle it then definitely go for it. You might not even go through anything negative.

@kailylane153 I live in Pennsylvania. But I have started looking up recipes and stuff so I just need to put the time and effort into actually making everything.

@jleona your body could possibly react bad to suddenly stopping on me and I don't know where. Also Morningstar is a great vegetarian substitute company that have a lot to offer. They have a wide variety of different flavored veggie burgers chicken patty burgers chicken nuggets bacon which in my opinion is no good don't get it the hot dogs are pretty good they even have breakfast sausages which are pretty good

Start by introducing lots of fruits and vegetables into your diets. Smoothies are good.. idk where you live but they have lots of health food stores that have vegan based food. Also look up recipes, black bean tacos with guacamole and salsa are really good!

I think it would be best if you start by cutting out all red meat. Just stick with chicken, fish, turkey etc...
