Ever since Ive had my little boy, I find myself overthinking situations so much and worrying about what people think. I don't know whether it's because when you have children everyone feels the need to tell you how to do things, it just messes with my head . I almost feel as though I'm losing my self confidence. I never used to give a stuff what people thought, but now I'm constantly worrying about everything, not just baby related things .. Anybody else felt like this?

It’s funny even a 20 yr old delivery guy was telling me how to mother today! I think babies are so precious people want to help although to you at the time it seems rude I thought to myself maybe one of his partners had lost a baby recently so he was over cautious and giving his advice. You never know so your not alone and just continue as you are and try to ignore comments suggestions with a smile :)

@rachaellw that's good you have a supportive and understanding husband that can help you through tough patches . It must be difficult not being able to take your tablets, you have done well. X

@kshelley, I tried to deal with it for over a year which then started Affecting my relationship so I went to the dr I saw her once a week for a while but ended up on prn tablets. I’m suffering at the minuet as I’m not taking them while pregnant. So I just tell my hubby when I feel it coming in and he talks me down and reassured me x

@ingrid_deridder I get that all the time it's so strange.. I've even been told by a stranger that I'm not holding my baby right, when I knew I was holding him perfectly fine... But then it leaves me with paranoia and doubt.. Ye like you said, you never know what has lead them to make these random comments. X

@rachaellw ye I agree the body can do odd things. I'm sorry to hear that yours led to anxiety, I'm sure he hasn't missed out a lot. What do you do to cope with your anxiety? Xx

Yeah i got/get this even now. Mine led to anxiety, the body is weird thing and my head got totally messed up. I can’t take him to mummy groups or anywhere with to many people, it’s so sad because he has missed out on a lot and it’s my fault for it

@clare_louise13 ye that's how I feel. I make a decision about something , then I spend the next hour questioning myself on whether I made the right decision. I drive myself mad. Its silly things like today for example, Ive made arrangements to meet my friends tomorrow and go to a wedding show (one of my friends is getting married), I've decided to take my little boy with me tomorrow. But now I'm questioning myself whether I've made the right decision and are my friends going to get bored of me wanting to bring the little one along (they have no children), but I'm not ready to leave my little boy with someone for the whole day yet . So I've spent the whole evening worrying over it.. It's silly I know.... Maybe I should speak to my doctor. I've felt like this for a while now.. I don't know whether being at home a lot with little adult conversation has sent my brain into overdrive. X
